Projects completed or underway:

• The purchase of a 5 acre plot of land in Naivasha for the buildings and farmland that will comprise the facility.
• Borehole drilling for a well and the purchase/install of a well pump.
• Construction of a fence around the perimeter of the property (Pictures above are from a trip from 2007 where a Grace Race team went to Naivasha Kenya to help build the fence along with men and women from Naivasha).
• Beginning work on electrical infrastructure for the site. Connection to the high-voltage power grid is still pending. In the meantime, a diesel generator provides all electrical power.
• Irrigation system installed for the farmland.
• Construction of administrative wing foundation and walls.
• Construction of administratrive wing roof (work is underway).
• Construction of girls and boys dormitories to begin in 2010 with funds raised in 2009.
