The pictures displayed above show the phases of the project that have been completed with the funds raised to date.

Projects completed or underway:

• The purchase of a 5 acre plot of land in Naivasha for the buildings and farmland that will comprise the facility.
• Borehole drilling for a well and the purchase/install of a well pump.
• Construction of a fence around the perimeter of the property (Pictures above are from a trip from 2007 where a Grace Race team went to Naivasha Kenya to help build the fence along with men and women from Naivasha).
• Beginning work on electrical infrastructure for the site. Connection to the high-voltage power grid is still pending. In the meantime, a diesel generator provides all electrical power.
• Irrigation system installed for the farmland.
• Completion of administrative wing (includes dining rooms, kitchen, fellowship hall, clinic, staff offices).
• Completion of girls and boys dormitories (each able to house 50 children).
• Purchase of furnishings for orphanage, dining room utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Beginning of classroom wing construction. This includes classrooms for primary and secondary education as well as classrooms to teach vocational trades: carpentry, welding, auto mechanics, tailoring, computers/IT and secretarial skills, agriculture, plumbing&electrical, and others.
